Two teams looking to solidify their positions as playoff contenders will meet in today?s free NBA picks 2013 game, as the Atlanta Hawks pay a visit to the Brooklyn Nets.

In the case of the Nets, they start the evening comfortably sitting in fourth place in the current playoff picture. Much like the Hawks, Brooklyn will also have a chance to move up the ladder before the season is said and done.
At the present time, the Nets are just one game behind the New York Knicks for the third spot and a game-and-a-half away from the second-seeded Pacers. Overall the Nets come in with a 38-27 record, which includes a 22-13 mark at home.
